The introductory session is not designed to replace a protocol. It gives us a practical starting point for understanding how you respond, what feels appropriate, and whether a more structured plan makes sense for your goals.

Why protocols work

Recovery is cumulative. This is why protocols matter.

Most people think recovery is about intensity. In reality, the body responds far more effectively to consistency. One session may help you feel better temporarily. Structured frequency is what creates measurable adaptation over time.

Your nervous system, mitochondria, circulation, inflammation response, and cellular repair mechanisms all respond to repeated exposure, not isolated treatments performed sporadically. A structured protocol creates consistent stimulation, repeated recovery signalling, better nervous-system regulation, greater physiological adaptation, and more measurable outcomes over time.

Sporadic sessions often produce inconsistent results because the body never receives enough repetition to fully adapt. Momentum is lost between appointments, progress becomes difficult to measure, and many people end up restarting the process repeatedly. Protocols are designed to solve that problem.

At Element, we structure treatment frequency intentionally, often across 6 to 10 weeks, because consistency creates the environment where recovery, regulation, and optimisation can occur more effectively. The objective is not more treatments. The objective is the right frequency, over the right period, for the right outcome.
